Reel Collectibles was born in April 2004 by proud
parents Hugh Clark and Sarah Dobson out of a passion for movies.
We are both avid movie fans, have a vast knowledge of movie trivia
and our products and collectors ourselves. We are both also official
members of the 501st, an organisation whose members proudly own
and wear movie accurate Star Wars Imperial costumes.
The Reel Collectibles mission is to consistently
provide the highest quality and most authentic movie and TV collectibles
to our customers. We do this by sourcing internationally renowned
manufacturers of Collectibles and generally importing all items
ourselves here into New Zealand. We are collectors and fans ourselves
and take great pride and care in all of the items that come into
our shop. Each one is individually checked over and then carefully
resealed, to ensure that it is in mint ex-factory condition and/or

Our shop is the only dedicated movie & TV collectibles
retail store in the country, and has recently been expanding to include gaming collectibles, and is New Zealand's only authorised 20th Century Fox Gallery for Limited Edition Studio and Animation Art.
We offer NZ & worldwide shipping through our website and package
items carefully, as we would like to receive them ourselves.
Hugh has been interviewed for NZ Investor Magazine (Dec 2010 issue) and the NZ Herald My Generation magazine (February 2011), due to his knowledge in the New Zealand Collectibles industry.
In 2010 we employed Shannon Quaid, who now looks after the shop on a day-to-day basis. Shannon's design expertise, movie knowledge and experience in the gaming collectibles made him a perfect fit for Reel Collectibles, although he still needs to watch Lord of the Rings!
Reel Collectibles has been regularly attending the Armageddon Expos since 2005 and has "one of the coolest shops you'll ever see" (A customer quote, not ours!) in Queenstown.
