Hi there,
Welcome to the latest Reel Collectibles E-Newsletter, well overdue again, sorry :) In this edition: A couple of travel stories, Shannon has a break, summer hours, Armageddon and more awesome stuff. On with the show... |

Next shipment date...
Our latest stock shipment arrived last week and customer orders have been sent out to those eagerly awaiting awesomeness. We have another shipment that has already left overseas that is winging it's way directly to the Auckland Armageddon, however this will mostly be Armageddon stock rather than customer orders. Once we return from Armageddon, we will prepare our last shipment for the year. If you would like to order any item for that shipment or anything for a Christmas present, we need to get the orders to our overseas warehouse by Thursday 10th November. Remember, only 50% deposit is required when placing the order with the balance payable upon arrival. Goods should arrive into our store around the first week of December for sending out.
Please feel free to contact us to confirm availability of any item.

In the news...
We're back...
As mentioned in the last e-newsletter, Sarah and Hugh took some time off for a long overdue and well deserved holiday. We did indeed visit the Manchester Comic Con in the UK, where we caught up with our old friend Warwick Davis, and visited Star Wars and Bond movie locations in Lake Como, Italy, and Doctor Who & Torchwood locations in Wales.
...and Shannon has a break?
Kind of. Shannon has unfortunately broken a wrist bone and may be out of action for a wee while to recuperate. As Sarah and I both have other work commitments, we apologise in advance if there is the occasional delay in responding to your emails.
Armageddon Auckland Expo
We're off again to the Auckland Armageddon Expo shortly. This years event is a 4-day event, at the ASB Showgrounds, from Friday 28th to Monday 31st October. Check out the official Armageddon Expo web site for details. We've got some cool new pieces to show you, plus a special attendee only discount offer. We look forward to seeing old friends and meeting those who we've only met by email so far!
Shop hours
Due to our attendance at the Auckland Armageddon Expo, our store will be closed from Tuesday 25th October to Wednesday 2nd November. We re-open on Thursday 3rd November. We also have new spring hours, these are posted up on our web site on this page.

Hot items...
Toy Story Character Keys. We've only got a handful of these, they sold out within days from Acme Archives and the Pixar style suits the Character Key format perfectly.
Sucker Punch 18" Statues by Gentle Giant. Babydoll's statue sold out as soon as it hit our shores and is now going for about 3 times the price on ebay. Amber has also just sold out, even though she only landed last week. Get a pre-order in for Sweet Pea or Rocket before it's too late.
Doctor Who Sonic Screwdriver Tool While not so useful for saving the planet, this curious contraption is a literal interpretation of the good Doctor's famous device. Based on the 11th Doctor's Sonic Screwdriver, it features 3 tip sizes for small, medium and large screws, with each shaft being reversible for flat-head and Phillips-head screws. |
