1. Layby is only available on items that are currently 'In Stock' at Reel Collectibles or regularly part of our shop stock. Any item that is being ordered specifically for you is not eligible for Layby, please see Ordering in stock for more information.

2. Layby is available on all items or multiple items with a value of $200 and over.

3. There are no extra charges for a Layby purchase. You pay the normal retail prices.

4. Layby is available to New Zealand Customers only at this stage. International customers, please contact us directly if you would like this option on an international purchase.

5. 30% of the total value of the item's retail price is required as minimum deposit on Laybys.

6. The balance is payable at a minimum of $50 per weekly payment. First payment is due within 2 weeks after payment of deposit. Fortnightly or monthly payments are possible, as long as the combined minimum $50 per week is covered by those payments.

7. Goods remain the property of Reel Collectibles until paid for in full. Goods will be shipped only when item is paid for in full and shipping costs paid for.

8. By opening a Layby account you are accepting all the terms and conditions listed on this page.

Cancellation: If payment is not completed within the time period, we may have to cancel the sale. If the sale is cancelled the goods will be returned to stock or made available to another customer and you would be entitled to a store credit for another item. However, we do reserve the right to deduct an administration fee of 10% of the purchase price for a cancelled sale.

Layby examples:
Cost of item: $500 (plus shipping)

Payment options: We have 2 options available for Layby purchases. You can either pay by internet banking, or submit your credit card details and we will automatically charge your card for the required payment on each due date. For Queenstown local customers Cash, Credit Card or Eftpos payments directly in the shop are also an option.

Shipping: Your item will be shipped once the Layby has been completed. Shipping charges may be payable also, these can be combined with your last payment, included in the Layby price or paid seperately.

Pre-orders: Pre-order Laybys are welcome and encouraged for items that are to be released at a later date. You can complete the payments at any stage before the item arrives so then it can be shipped to you as soon as it arrives! See our full pre-order policies here.
