The third piece from Disney's The Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspian emerges on the day of the World Premiere of the movie. Weta Concept Designer Paul Tobin designed this feature piece, with inspiration drawn from the works of Western artist Frederic Remington. It was then sculpted by Eden Small and Daniel Cockersell. This sculpture joins a long Weta tradition of much admired equestrian statues, and in an edition limited to ONLY 500 WORLDWIDE, Caspian and Steed is set to become immensely collectible.

Description: Brutish, filthy creatures, as Minotaurs are to bulls, so Minoboars are to pigs- part man, part boar. Burly and strong, the Minoboars are foot soldiers in the White Witch's army, able to disrupt entire enemy lines with their vicious charges. The powerful, stocky soldiers are protected by dirty, heavy, leather armour over their already thick hides. They carry no weapons, preferring to inflict grievous wounds with rusty blades and spikes on their armour and their large, sharp tusks. Design Maquettes are quick sculptures used to refine the design of a creature beyond drawings and paintings, allowing the concept to be realised in a three dimensional form. The enclosed maquette is close to the final form the character takes in the film and has been cast directly off the original maquette used by Andrew Adamson and the Weta Workshop team during the design phase.
