Welcome to Queenstown Hugh Jackman and the Wolverine filming crew!
Seeing as Wolverine is filming here in Queenstown for the next month or two, we thought we'd keep our customers who are interested updated with news as it comes to hand from our Queenstown perspective.

Note: not entirely true, the Environmental Society got upset - rightly so - and the council, realising their stuff-up, tried to make amends...

Next up, a few updates from our own perspective:
• 01/01/08 - Hugh, Sarah, Cen and Wendy take pics in front of partially completed Wolverine Set Log Cabin on Deer Park Heights (see photos above... and that's Wolverine and Sabertooth having a battle, obviously!

Local knowledge also has info on a Barn or Log Cabin being built up near Glenorchy, which is rumoured to blown up as part of the shoot. "The explosives will be used to blow up a barn built on a set at Arcadia Station near Glenorchy in a final sequence for the X-Men prequel, starring Hugh Jackman."
• 03/02/08 - X-men crew do Shotover Jet and Hugh and Sarah get photo with other Hugh (See photos above). Hugh was a really nice guy to chat to, we thank him for taking the time to meet us and allow us to take a picture with him. We have, of course, invited him and the others out for the Celebrity Frisbee Golf challenge, now we're just waiting to see if he's up to the task!
Updated: We've had so many people ask about this, thought it best to clarify. Hugh is NOT in his Wolverine leathers, he and 4 others of the crew, including Liev Schreiber, were taking in the sights of Queenstown on Harley Davidson Motorcycles. We were there when they all drove off on them after their Shotover Jet trip.
• 5/02/08 - 2 Sources have led us to understand that some or all of the crew is heading off to Dunedin tomorrow to shoot scenes for an unknown length of time. Keep your eyes open Tim!

Also, a journo from the Herald wants to put the pic in her column on Sunday and lastly, had a phone call and an email from accesshollywood.com this morning, which seems to be an NBC Entertainment show in LA, who want to put them on their site also.
