Sideshow Adds To Its Acclaimed 'Star Wars' Collection

Thousand Oaks, California (September, 2009) - Global leader in the manufacturing of licensed and proprietary high-end product Sideshow Collectibles is expanding its current Star Wars licensing agreement. In addition to its award winning lines of 12-inch Figures, Premium Format Figures, Dioramas and Life-Size Busts, the company will now produce a line of Half-Scale Busts, the first of which, Commander Cody, debuted in July at the San Diego Comic-Con International.

Sideshow's Development Team had collector displays in mind with the design of the new bust series. Creative Director Tom Gilliland states, "Life-Size busts might not work for everyone, so we created this line to bring the grandeur of the bust format into a more obtainable, displayable size. We've also done something slightly different in the composition of these busts that we expect folks to get excited about." Fans can look forward to adding this new dimension to their collections in the very near future.
